James’ Experience
After graduation from UW Madison with a degree in economics, Jim took a position as a credit analyst with First Bank N.A. (aka as US Bank). Jim returned to Madison in 1991 to run the business banking group for Park Bank, being named President/CEO of Park in 1998. He led the growth and development of Park from $150 million in assets to $1.5 billion over his tenure, with record earning years in 2020-2022. Jim is very active in the banking industry with past positions including Board member of Wisconsin Banking Association, Banker of the Year award in 2020, and member director of the Federal Home Loan Bank Chicago, where he is currently Vice Chair Elect. Jim is also very active in the greater Madison community, being involved in leadership, board positions, and/or capital campaign chairmanship at Ronald McDonald House Madison, Fitchburg Community and Economic Development Authority, Edgewood High School, Blessed Sacrament Church, Middleton Youth football and basketball, American Family Children’s Hospital at UW Madison, and many others.
